Constraining CMSSM dark matter with direct detection results We examine how well direct detection experiments can constrain SUSY models, using the CMSSM as an example. Various issues that affect those constraints are examined, such as our limited knowledge of the local dark matter halo and uncertainties in the parameters describing the proton & neutron structures. We discuss difficulties that arise in scanning the theoretical parameter space. |
