Researcher Professor auxiliar, Departamento de Física e Astronomia, Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto Phone Email Biographic notes Jorge Filipe Gameiro received the ''Licenciatura'' from the University of Porto in 1989, the DEA in Astrophysique et Techniques Spatiales from the University of Paris (France) in 1990 and the PhD from the University of Porto in 1996. He was a Assistant Lecturer from 1993 up to 1996, and since then he is a Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics, in the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Current research interest focus on young stars and early stage of evolution, stellar winds and stellar activity. He is also involved in education and popularization of Astronomy.
