Biographic notes
Sérgio Sousa graduated in Physics/Applied Mathematics at the University of Porto in 2003. In the following year he obtained his master's degree in Astronomy in the field of Asteroseismology. In 2009 he has completed is PhD with the dissertation "Spectroscopic, Interferometric and Seismic Study of Solar-type Stars" in a project divided between Porto and Lisbon.

Current research interests include: general stellar astrophysics, solar-type stars, spectroscopy and observational study of planet-hosting stars.
