UKIRT is a 3.8m telescope using an ``English'' mounting, located at the summit of Mauna Kea (4194 m altitude), Hawaii, USA. Instruments are located at the Cassegrain focus. Observations with UKIRT are limited to the declination range -40o to +60o07'. UKIRT is solely dedicated to infrared astronomy.
