The method used here to compute Pa Beta and Br Gamma line profiles follow along the lines developed by Johns & Basri (1995b) for the computation of H Alpha and H Beta profiles. A modified version of the general purpose radiative transfer code CLOUDY [Ferland 1997] was used to compute the population of the relevant levels of the hydrogen atom. These were then used to calculate optical depths and source functions for the relevant transitions which, in turn, were used to compute the line profiles.
