The reduction of data obtained during the 1994 observing run was carried out using Starlink's CGS4 Data Reduction package (CGS4DR) and FIGARO and also Interactive Data Language (IDL) routines written specifically for this work. To reduce the data from the integrations stage to the sky subtracted stage the general procedure described in the previous section was followed and only CGS4DR was used. The spectra were then optimally extracted using the FIGARO implementation of Horne's algorithm.
