Bias Subtraction

 

The next step is to subtract the 'zero-level' of each pixel. This is performed by subtracting the bias frame off the integration frames. This step is only necessary where single read-out mode was used. For integrations performed in non-destructive read-out mode, the offset level is already corrected by the read-out procedure.
