General Procedure

The data reduction for spectra obtained with CGS4 follows the general procedure described by Puxley et al. (1992).

The most basic data files recorded during a CGS4 observing session are the integrations. These are the raw data frames and result from co-adding one or more on-chip exposures. If oversampling was performed then there is one integration for each detector position.
