Exotic singularities in cosmology and varying constants

Resumo
I will present a variety of exotic (non-big-bang) singularities such as sudden future singularities, finite scale factor singularities, big-separation, and w-singularities (or type II-V). I will show that they are of a weak type and do not necessarily exhibit geodesic incompletness and may fit observational data (supernovae, baryon acoustic oscillations, CMB, redshift drift). I will also review how these singularities can be weakened, strengthened, or avoided due to the time-variation of the physical constants such as the speed of light c and the gravitational constant G.
