Effective Temperatures of Solar-Type Stars

Resumo
The effective temperatures, together with the surface gravities and the metallicities, are fundamental parameters for computing asteroseismic models. They need to be very precise and accurate now, in the era of the Kepler, in order to allow to compute dedicated asteroseismic models of stars. Unfortunately, it seems that deriving accurate effective temperature is by far more difficult to achieve than expected. In this talk, I discuss the difficulties related to determination of Teff, the external precision of our computations, and a few ideas how to approach those issues.
