A new calibration of Cen binary stars has been performed with the available astrometric, photometric and spectroscopic data and using the the oscillation frequencies of Cen A recently discovered. Thus we have constrained the age, the initial helium abundance and the initial metallicity of the two stars. We discuss the implications of seismic observations of Cen A on our knowledge of the masses of the binary system Cen.
