We investigate properties of the internal structure of HR2021, better known as Hydri, a G2 IV subgiant with mass close to solar and for which observations have confirmed presence of solar-like oscillations characterized by a large separation of = 55.7 (Bedding et al. 2001). We use updated parameters to constrain a grid of stellar models of Hydri and we compare the theoretical prediction of p-mode frequencies of oscillations calculated for the models with the observed power spectrum of oscillation of this star in the attempt to get conclusions not only on the actual evolutionary state of Hydri, but also on the possible future evolution scenario of the Sun.
