His research interests are on the Physical Properties (e.g. Effective temperature) and Chemical Composition (e.g. Carbon, nitrogen, oxygen) of F-G-K-M Dwarf and Giant Stars, the Evolution of the Chemical Elements in the Universe (from Big Bang primordial nucleosynthesis to the biogenic elements, the basic blocks of life), Solar Twins, Giant stars with Planets, Stellar Evolution (using diagnostics such as lithium), and Stellar Populations (Galactic Thin Disk, Thick Disk, Halo and Bulge).
